About StrataSportsSuite

Built From the Press Box Up.

StrataSportsSuite was created by someone who has spent years doing the work behind live statistics, athletic communications, and game-day operations.

Why I started building StrataSportsSuite

The work around a game deserves tools that respect the work.

Years spent keeping live statistics, working game-day operations, producing reports, and caring for historical records made one thing clear: accurate data only helps when it can move where people need it, on time.

Too often, athletic programs are forced to choose among aging legacy software, expensive enterprise systems, or disconnected products that do not communicate well. The result is extra exports, repeated entry, and too much pressure on the people responsible for getting a game right.

StrataSportsSuite began as a practical response to those everyday workflow problems. It is built to make the work more reliable, more connected, and easier to carry from the press box to everyone depending on the result.

“The people doing the work on game day should not have to fight their software to get the job done.”

Affordable does not mean limited

Professional tools should be within reach.

Modern athletic software should not be reserved for the largest departments. Smaller schools, independent stat crews, tournament operators, and conferences deserve dependable tools that support professional work.

That is why affordability here means accessibility: clear, useful products built for the organizations and people who need them, without asking them to buy more than their work requires.

Built by someone who uses it

Game-day experience is part of the design process.

StrataSportsSuite is not designed from a distance. It is shaped by the realities of keeping official statistics, working broadcasts, generating reports, managing exports, and helping coaches and administrators meet a deadline.

New features start with real workflows: where information gets entered, where it needs to go next, and what the person responsible needs to trust. That perspective keeps the software focused on useful details instead of abstract feature lists.

Every product stands on its own

Buy only what you need. Grow when you are ready.

There is no requirement to purchase the entire suite. Each product is designed to solve its own problem well, then share data naturally when more than one product is part of the workflow.

When products are used together, they can share data and reduce duplicate work. That connection is a benefit, not a requirement for getting value from any individual product.

Built around real workflows

Your data should move where you need it.

Athletic work rarely stops at one screen. A final box score may need to feed a website, a broadcaster, a scoreboard, a report, or an outside reporting workflow.

StrataSportsSuite supports practical ways to carry data forward through exports, delivery formats, and presentation workflows, so the work completed once can remain useful to the next person in the process.

  • MaxPreps export support
  • StatBroadcast delivery workflows
  • SIDEARM Sports workflows
  • Broadcast and scoreboard workflows
  • XML and CSV exports

Listening to customers

The next useful improvement often comes from the people using the product.

Coaches, sports information directors, statisticians, broadcasters, athletic directors, and independent crews all see different parts of the same workflow. Their feedback helps reveal where the work can be clearer, faster to verify, or easier to hand off.

Not every request belongs in every product, and not every idea can be scheduled immediately. But direct feedback remains an important part of deciding what to build next.

About Bryan Shepherd

Founder and Developer

Bryan Shepherd brings together athletic communications, live statistics, and software development experience to build tools around the way athletic work actually happens. That experience matters because it keeps the focus on dependable data, clear handoffs, and the people responsible for a game from start to finish.
